House by the third hole
The locality dictates the concept of the house; the house is by the third hole on a golf course, on an exposed, elevated spot. Although in a secluded place, it is a busy place, especially in the Sunday afternoons. The house is a notch in the landscape, a cut strip slightly hitched up. A green roof offers mimicry from distant looks and protects the house from a topped sand-wedge of ham-handed golf players, the atrium offers desired privacy. The functions of the floors are lined up in a slightly unexpected way; a swimming pool with a terrace and background are situated on the ground floor, the first floor is dedicated to sleeping, the main living quarters, terrace and, of course, a practice driving range are to be found in the apprentice.
