Family house in Semčice
The house is part of a newly developing housing estate in Semčice near Mladá Boleslav. Living quarters opened into a naked roof construction are the focus point of the house. This spatially-organizational element is full of space and light and presents the concentration of all the social functions of the house including kitchen, study, fitness and an outdoor terrace. A block of hygienic background separates this space from the privacy of the bedrooms. A red thread of a glass-concrete wall of translucent blocks winds through the whole structure and serves as a unifying element of the whole interior. All the used materials; natural concrete of the ceilings, dark tones of the tiles, oak floors, glass blocks, graphite steel, help to create pleasant environment for pleasant inhabitants.
